TASK FORCE DISPATCH
Thursday, March 22, 2007

Criteria for Dispatch of BCTRTF. 

Upon request of the Incident Commander Dispatch Procedure 

1. Alpha page a Task Force Leader to call communications. a. TFL will advise center which units to dispatch for the incident. b. See info file “BCTRTF”.
 
2. Tone page the companies as requested by TFL. 
    a. Dispatch of (2) fire rescues and (1) medical support unit. 
    b. See info file “BCTRTF”. 

3. Notification of the Haz-Mat Team. a. Page a haz-mat officer as per policy in Info “Station 89”. 

Radio Channel Operations 

1. Responding: fire units will respond on the zone of the incident. Medical units will respond on their respective channel.
 
2. Fireground: units of the BCTRTF will operate on the opposite fireground channel being utilized by the incident commander. 

Covers 

1. At the request of the TFL.
 
2. Cover Policy a. Dispatch the next (2) technical rescue agencies and technical medical squad to the Bucks County Emergency Services Building (IvyGlenn) or a predetermined secondary location.
 
Notifications 

1. Level 1 a. Haz-Mat Team 
2. Level 2 & 3 a. Emergency Management Agency Info File “BCTRTF” 1. Notification of a Task Force Leader Notify a Task Force Leader with an alpha page to: “To/Int1/BCTRTF, Any available Task Force Leader call Communications at 215-348-6616 for information” Wait for a Task Force Leader to call in and advise of units to respond. Dispatch (tone) of requested units. FIRE Region Lower 12 53 Central 2 Upper 26/60 56 EMS Region Lower 154 Central Upper 
3. Resource equipment binder will be located at the FD01 position.
